From the North

(Westerville, Polaris, Powell, Delaware)

  • Drive South toward the northern loop of I-270
  • Take I-270 East toward New Albany
  • Take Exit 30 to merge onto OH-161 heading East toward New Albany
  • Take the New Albany Road exit
  • At the top of the ramp at the signal light, turn right onto New Albany Road
  • At the traffic circle, take the second exit onto Fodor Rd.
  • Continue on Fodor Rd. past the stop sign and the next stop light (for the high school campus) and be prepared to move into the left turn lane at the next light (Dublin Granville Rd.)
  • At the light for Dublin Granville Rd., turn left
  • Less than 0.5 mile down the road, the entrance to the McCoy Center for the Arts will be on your left. Look for an octagonal brick building with white windows that face the street
  • Parking lots surround the McCoy Center

From the South

(Circleville, Pickerington, Canal Winchester, Lancaster)

  • Drive North toward the Southern loop of I-270
  • Take I-270 East
  • Exit onto US-62 heading East toward Gahanna
  • Turn left at the signal light in Gahanna village onto Mill Street
  • Stay on US-62, which changes name to Johnstown Road, heading toward New Albany
  • At the one and only traffic circle you encounter, take the second exit and stay on US-62 heading toward New Albany
  • Once in the Village of New Albany, travel past the Post Office and turn left at the next signal light onto Dublin Granville Road
  • The entrance of the McCoy Center for the Arts will be immediately on your right. Look for an octagonal brick building with white windows that face the street
  • Parking lots surround the McCoy Center

From the East

(Granville, Newark, Zanesville)

  • Drive West on OH-161
  • Take the US-62 exit toward Johnstown & New Albany
  • At the end of the ramp, turn left at the signal light onto Johnstown Road/Main Street heading toward New Albany
  • At the third signal light, turn right onto Dublin Granville Road
  • The entrance of the McCoy Center for the Arts will be immediately on your right. Look for an octagonal brick building with white windows that face the street
  • Parking lots surround the McCoy Center

From the West

(Springfield, London, West Jefferson, Lincoln Village)

  • Head East on I-70 toward Columbus
  • Merge onto I-670 heading Northeast toward the Columbus Airport
  • Exit onto US-62 heading East toward Gahanna
  • Turn left at the signal light in Gahanna village onto Mill Street
  • Stay on US-62, which changes name to Johnstown Road, heading toward New Albany
  • At the one and only traffic circle you encounter, take the second exit and stay on US-62 heading toward New Albany
  • Once in the Village of New Albany, travel past the Post Office and turn left at the next signal light onto Dublin Granville Road

The parking lots surrounding the McCoy Center are not owned by the McCoy but are available to McCoy patrons free of charge Monday-Friday after 4 pm, and all day on Saturday and Sunday, on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone who parks in the lots prior to 4 pm Monday-Friday may be towed. Accessible parking is available in the lot off of Main St.

Theatre Accessibility

  • Accessible seating: Located in row J on the main floor and row E in the balcony.
  • Elevators: Provide easy access to the balcony.
  • Stairs: Required for all seating except designated accessible areas.
  • Accessible restrooms: Located by the side entry, to the right of the house doors.
  • Audio description & ASL services: Available upon request by contacting access@capa.com.
  • Listening devices: Available in the box office. Please ask the house manager for assistance (ID or credit card may be required).
  • Wheelchairs: Complimentary wheelchairs are available in the box office.
  • KultureCity locations:
    • Quiet Area: Is located in the education wing of the McCoy Center for the Arts.
    • Headphone Zone: Theatre area is considered a headphone zone.
    • Sensory Bags: Please ask a House Manager for a Sensory Bag at the front entrance of the theatre; an ID or credit card may be required to be held during your use of the Sensory Bag.

Founded in 2008, the 786-seat McCoy Center was created through a unique partnership between the City of New Albany, Plain Township, New Albany-Plain Local School District, and the New Albany Community Foundation. CAPA began managing the venue in 2013.

Photo Gallery

Programming includes a main stage Marquee Season featuring world-class artists; lectures by noted authors and public figures; and educational programming offered in collaboration with numerous central Ohio arts organizations. The McCoy serves as home for several arts organizations, including the New Albany Symphony Orchestra, New Albany Arts Council, New Albany Ballet Company, and the Broadway Bound Dance Centre.
