CAPA Ticket Center

CAPA is the official ticketing source for all of our venues (exception: Broadway in Columbus tickets are sold online at Ticketmaster.com, in person at the CAPA Ticket Office, or over the phone at 614-469-0939). Tickets from third-party resellers are not guaranteed to be valid, and we are not responsible for fraudulent tickets.

The CAPA Ticket Center is open Monday-Friday, 10 am-3 pm, and our Phone Center receives calls Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. CAPA Ticket Center staff will be onsite at minimum 1hr prior to event start.

The venue’s box office will open 2 hours prior to each performance (1 hour for the Summer Movie Series). You will be able to purchase tickets or pick up will call tickets at that time.  Please bring your photo ID and the credit card used to purchase tickets when picking up.

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.

In the rare event of a cancellation, we will make every effort to notify patrons beforehand, often by email. Refunds are processed at the location you purchased your ticket. Please contact the CAPA Ticket Center if you have any questions at 614-469-0939.

If the show goes on as scheduled, we are contractually obligated to pay the performers. Therefore, we do not offer weather-related refunds.

  • Buy tickets through the CAPA Ticket Center or the presenting organization.
  • Don’t trust search engines — make sure the result you click on goes to www.capa.com.
  • Sign up for email alerts. Join the CAPA email list for event announcements and pre-sale access to select shows.

Ticket Policy

Below please find details related to our ticketing policies for events happening at our venues. Contact the CAPA Ticket Center if you have further questions.

The CAPA Ticket Center has basic ticketing policies that the purchaser acknowledges and accepts by completing payment for a purchase on the ticket platform.

  • Your ticket is a revocable license and may be taken up and admission refused upon refunding the purchase price.
  • There are no refunds or exchanges. Your ticket cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed, and is valid only for the event and seat printed on ticket.
  • All telephone and internet transactions are subject to a fee.
  • Latecomers are subject to deferred seating.
  • Program dates and times are subject to change without notice.
  • Recording devices are prohibited. Violation of the forgoing will automatically terminate this license.
  • This ticket may not be resold for an amount in excess of the face value of the ticket without the written consent of issuer. Your ticket may not be resold within 1,500 feet from the physical structure of the place of entertainment.
  • Holder of this ticket voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which this ticket is issued whether occurring prior to, during, or after the same.
  • Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be invalid, lost, stolen, or counterfeit and if so are void.
  • Photos/video/audio taken at any performance by presenter may be used for marketing purposes. Be aware that by attending this event, you consent to your likeness being used, without compensation, in any media and marketing materials, for eternity, and you release CAPA and its assigns and licensees from any liability whatsoever, of any nature.
  • Complimentary tickets are not exchangeable or redeemable for any benefit offered to tickets with a dollar value.
  • Unauthorized use and/or duplication of this ticket, in whole or in part, without the express written permission of CAPA or the event presenter is strictly prohibited.
  • Everyone, including children, must have a ticket.

The CAPA Ticket Center can communicate and assist only the original ticket purchaser in the CAPA system (or Ticketmaster for Broadway Across America purchases) in regard to their ticket purchases. Patrons may be asked to confirm account details for verification prior to ticketing assistance.

The CAPA Ticket Center reserves the right to limit ticket purchases to a specified number of tickets for each event (also known as a “ticket limit”) in order to discourage unfair ticket buying practices.

The ticket limit is posted on each event page during the purchase process and applies both to the single order and the cumulative number of tickets in an individual account. Each account must be linked to a unique individual and must contain valid and verifiable information. Multiple accounts may not be used to circumvent or exceed published ticket limits.

If you exceed or attempt to exceed the posted ticket limits, the CAPA Ticket Center reserves the right to cancel, without notice, any or all orders and tickets, and may restrict or prohibit future ticket purchasing access. Tickets canceled due to ticket limit violations may be refunded at face value (excluding fees). This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number, or other information.

Some events have a group rate discount depending on the venue, renting organization, or local performing arts group. Discounts and ticket minimums may vary between organizations and some restrictions may apply. You can contact the CAPA Ticket Center Group Specialist at (614) 719-6900 or email at groups@capa.com.

Tickets cannot be resold on an unauthorized third-party reseller, a ticket broker, or outside entity platforms at a higher price. Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of tickets, including but not limited to counterfeit or falsified tickets, is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation.

Certain maximum resale premiums and restrictions may apply in some states. CAPA is not responsible for providing legal advice regarding resale or pricing of tickets. You are responsible for complying with all applicable ticket resale laws. In addition, the CAPA Ticket Center reserves the right to restrict or deny ticket purchasing privileges to anyone that we determine to be, or to have been, in violation of our policies.

Because we do not guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any unauthorized third-party reseller (such as brokers or individuals), we recommend that you purchase tickets directly through the CAPA Ticket Center, Ticketmaster (for Broadway in Columbus performances), an authorized promotion (Goldstar, Groupon, etc), or from the venue box office to ensure ticket authenticity.

Ticket fees support the costs of our ticketing system – from technology to personnel. Service fees on the CAPA Ticket Center platform remain local, supporting our mission-driven initiatives designed to make Columbus a national destination for performing arts. Please note that some fees may be avoided when purchasing in person at the CAPA Ticket Center in advance or at the venue on the night of your performance.

Certain venues may be able to accept mobile payments or digital wallets. We do not accept money orders, foreign currency, digital currency, Ticketmaster or Broadway Across America gift cards/certificates.

Events may cancel, postpone, or make changes to entry policies (such as need for proof of COVID vaccination, required masking, etc) after the initial sale of tickets. The CAPA Ticket Center attempts to contact all original ticket buyers to notify them of change, often communicating announcements via email, social media, print media, telephone, and on the CAPA Ticket Center Platform.

In these instances, CAPA Ticket Center may offer exceptions to our refund and exchange polices. In the event of a full show cancellation with no option for reschedule, mass refunds from your point of purchase will be processed.

If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect (regardless of whether it is incorrect because of an error in a price posted on the Site or otherwise communicated to you), if you are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or presale date, or if you are able to order a ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale, then the CAPA Ticket Center will have the right to cancel that ticket (or the order for that ticket) and refund to you the amount that you paid. This will apply regardless of whether the error occurred because of human error or a transactional malfunction of the CAPA website, Ticketmaster website, or authorized promotion source. The CAPA Ticket Center will not be liable for travel or any other expenses that you, or anyone else, incurs in connection with errors of this nature.

CAPA takes personal safety very seriously and has implemented security measures to better assure the comfort and protection of all persons who work, volunteer, and visit our venues.
