CAPA is proud to be the home of some of the finest performing arts organizations in Columbus. Our venues serve as the primary performance spaces for our esteemed Resident Groups, comprised of BalletMet, Broadway in Columbus, Chamber Music Columbus, Columbus Children’s Theatre, Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus, Columbus Symphony, Jazz Arts Group, Lincoln Theatre Association, McCoy Center for the Arts, New Albany Symphony Orchestra, Opera Columbus, ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, Short North Stage, and The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio. We are dedicated to supporting these groups and their invaluable contributions to the arts, providing a stage for their incredible performances and fostering the cultural growth of our community.

Since 1978, BalletMet has brought incredible dance to theaters, studios and classrooms in Central Ohio—and beyond. Located in the heart of downtown Columbus, BalletMet boasts a black box theatre performance space, seven dance studios, administrative offices and costume and scene shops.

Columbus Children’s Theatre educates and involves young people of all backgrounds in the theatre arts. Through their programs, they foster self-esteem and self-discovery by emphasizing discipline, integrity, team-building, and communication skills in a positive and creative environment. They promote access to theatre arts for families who do not have regular opportunities to appreciate theatre in their lives because of either economic, cultural, or other barriers.

Led by Music Director David Danzmayr and Creative Partner, renowned violinist Vadim Gluzman, the orchestra bends artistic boundaries through innovative programming –– honoring the classical traditions and championing the contemporary, with a deep commitment to commissioning today’s composers. ProMusica’s vision is to engage, inspire and connect people to the world around them through the joy of live music.
