Description
Our most requested show of the season! Welcome to Joe’s Diner, where the pies are sweet, but the drama is even sweeter. Meet Jenna, a waitress with a knack for baking and a talent for getting herself into sticky situations. Stuck in a loveless marriage, she’s dreaming of a way out. Jenna’s life takes a turn when she unexpectedly finds herself with a bun in the oven. Suddenly, a baking contest and a new doctor in town offer a slice of hope.
With songs by Sara Bareilles like “Opening Up,” where the diner crew kicks off the day with a bang, and “She Used to Be Mine,” Jenna’s heart-wrenching anthem of self-discovery, you’ll be whisked away on a rollercoaster of emotions. And let’s not forget “Bad Idea,” the steamy duet with the new doctor in town that will have you questioning your own life choices.
The cast of quirky characters, including her sassy best friends and a boss who’s crustier than a day-old pie will serve up a delicious mix of humor, heart, and a dash of snark. Get ready for a musical that’s as satisfying as a perfectly baked pie – and just as messy!
