Description

The case of who murdered Mr. Boddy has gone cold, with the murderer still at large. The furniture from Tudor Mansion has been auctioned off and scattered throughout downtown Columbus. Now, you’re on the case to find the pieces that might hold the key to the identity of Mr. Boddy’s murderer. Get ready to search for these long-lost antiques from the iconic rooms in Tudor Mansion (the Library, the Billiard Room, the Ballroom, etc.) to figure out WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT! The recovered artifacts are still exactly as they were the evening Boddy Black was murdered all those years ago. The Butlers will welcome the detectives, hopeful that the players will discover once and for all who amongst us is the killer. Ready to dive into the world of CLUE? FAQ's

CLUE: A Walking Mystery is an interactive, real-life experience based on the beloved board game. Detectives are greeted by the Butler and then sent on their way to solve a mystery, gathering clues from popular sites and shops in the surrounding area.

In this new spin on everyone’s favorite mystery game, guests step into the roles of the ancestors of the beloved CLUE characters (Mayor Green, Colonel Mustard, Solicitor Peacock, Professor Plum, Miss Scarlett and Chef White) as detectives to solve the mystery of who murdered the elusive Mr. Boddy.

The case has gone cold, with the murderer still at large. All the furniture from Tudor Mansion has been auctioned off and scattered throughout the city. Determined to finally catch the culprit, the newly minted detectives must find the furniture located at local businesses and solve interactive puzzles within them to discover the clue left behind by the culprit. Piecing these clues together will allow players to figure out WHO did it WHERE and with WHAT.

Yes, as this is a participatory experience, all present must have a ticket. Children 5 and under are free with admission, however, adults accompanying young detectives MUST PAY ADMISSION. We recommend this experience for gumshoes ages 8 and over. Paying adults are to accompany anyone under age 16.

We may occasionally release “clues” on our socials for special discounts. However, purchasing a ticket does entitle players to exclusive discounts at shops and eateries along the way.

Introverts welcome! You’ll be solving the case with your own team at your own speed, so you never have to interact with other teams if you don’t want to.

Nope – it’s a brand-new mystery! Different story, different puzzles, different evidence and a different solution – but that same thrill of being a detective!

All locations are within the same general vicinity and are wheelchair accessible.

There is no time limit, but to visit each location should take anywhere from one hour to 90 minutes. However, some players have made an entire afternoon out of it, taking advantage of the discounts from each business.

The game concludes with the full group of suspects gathering with the Butler to deduce the answer together.

You’ll receive the satisfaction of being the best sleuth on the street and knowing Mr. Boddy will finally rest in peace.

CLUE: A Walking Mystery is a family friendly event and is recommended for ages 8 and over with adults accompanying minors. Children 5 and younger may attend free of charge with a paying adult or guardian.

Please check in as usual and you will be added to the next case with availability.

We understand even the best detectives make a mistake! Please reach out to the CAPA Ticket Center at 614-469-0939 or email us at mytickets@capa.com. Our Phone Center is open Monday through Friday from 9am – 5pm.

Unfortunately, all sales are final. Please contact your organizer via the ticketing platform for any questions.

CLUE: A Walking Mystery will take place regardless of weather conditions, rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day of your experience. We recommend wearing comfortable footwear and bringing weather-appropriate gear (such as an umbrella, sunscreen, or a jacket) to ensure you have the best experience, no matter the forecast.
