Warm holiday wishes to you!
First of all, thank you so much for taking part in our “Greatest Hits Of Christmas” livestream concert! We deeply appreciate your support, and are looking so forward to spending a slice of the holiday season together with you tomorrow evening.
I wanted to personally update you on our show...as with most everything in the year 2020, it’s an ever-evolving situation. We’ve all grown accustom to curveballs this year, to say the least.
Well, last night, our dear friend Rick Braun tested positive for the Coronavirus. He is doing ok thankfully, but obviously he’ll be unable to be part of our show. And because of their close proximity to Rick over the last week or so, Richard Elliot, David Benoit and our musical director Randy Jacobs will sadly have to sit this show out as well. It’s a devastating blow to all of us.
But…CHRISTMAS IS NOT CANCELLED! These are our dear family members, and I know they’d want us to go ahead with the show...and that is exactly what we are going to do. Jonathan Butler will be there, Peter White as well. Rebecca Jade will be there, and of course I will too. I made some urgent calls last night, and I am grateful to announce the amazing vocalist KENNY LATTIMORE has graciously agreed to help out, as well and saxophonist MICHAEL LINGTON (who was a star in last Christmas’ show). Additionally, awesome keyboardist BRIAN SIMPSON will be a solo performer. We are beyond grateful to these generous artists for stepping up at this most crucial time.
Please know that everyone you see tomorrow has tested negative for Covid-19, and we are all adhering to a strict set of protocols to actually do this show. Because I deeply care about all of these folks, I’d never do anything that would put them in harm’s way. Once we get to Saturday evening, we all want to just relax with you, and have an amazing and inspiring time together, sharing all the great music of the season.
So, we humbly ask for your understanding, and we ask for your prayers for our dear friends…and all those who have been so impacted by this virus.
The show will go on, dear friends...and I for one, cannot wait. It will indeed be a very heartfelt evening, and I am beyond thrilled that you’ll be a part of it. See you Saturday. With bells on. :)

Virtual ticket includes downloads of Dave’s latest albums - A New Day and Gifts of the Season. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Starlight Children’s Foundation.
