Crotchety Scrooge, lovable Tiny Tim, and all the fascinating characters that audiences have come to love make it a treasured kick off to the holiday season.

Performed by a spirited ensemble cast of actors and musicians, A Christmas Carol features almost two dozen traditional Christmas melodies including “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Good King Wenceslaus,” “Away in a Manger,” and “Here We Come A-Wassailing.” The production artfully recreates both the poverty and luxury of 19th -century London as a backdrop to the fable of Ebenezer Scrooge, a lonely man who is given the rarest of gifts—the chance to change his life and find his heart.
The Nebraska Theatre Caravan is the professional touring wing of the Omaha Community Playhouse, a unique partnership of a professional company and the nation’s largest community theatre. They have two touring companies that perform each November and December throughout the Midwest, South, and East Coast, entertaining thousands of families across the country.
